The Aquaculture Network Information Center is a gateway to the world's electronic aquaculture resources. AquaNIC is coordinated by the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium, and hosted by Purdue University and the University of Illinois through the Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant College Program. AquaNIC is a member of the National Sea Grant College Program's Network of Aquaculture Information Services along with the DOC/NOAA Aquaculture Information Center, National Sea Grant Library, Delaware Aquaculture Resource Center, and Maryland Sea Grant Program.

The Association of Illinois Soil and Water Conservation Districts (AISWCD), is a grass roots organization formed in 1948. It is made up and serves Illinois' 98 member Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs). The AISWCD's board members are representatives from local SWCD's. Known in various parts of the country as "soil and water conservation districts," "resource conservation districts," "natural resource districts," "land conservation committees" and similar names, they share a single mission: to coordinate assistance from all available sources -- public and private, local, state and federal -- in an effort to develop locally driven solutions to natural resource concerns.

The EXTOXNET InfoBase provides a variety of information about pesticides. Access the Pesticide Information Profiles (PIPs) for specific information on pesticides. Toxicology Information Briefs (TIBs) contain a discussion of certain concepts in toxicology and environmental chemistry. Other topic areas include: Toxicology Issues of Concern (TICs), Factsheets, News about Toxicology Issues, Newsletters, Resources for Toxicology Information, and Technical Information. A major goal has been to develop unbiased information in a form understandable by the non-expert, and to make that information fully searchable and selectively retrievable. EXTOXNET is a cooperative effort of University of California-Davis, Oregon State University, Michigan State University, Cornell University, and the University of Idaho.

It is a partnership between the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and American Farmland Trust. The FIC Web site contains a collection of materials, agricultural and land use statistics, laws, literature and technical resources related to farmland protection and stewardship.
