This one day workshop brings together scholars from across the UIUC campus for an exchange of ideas on consumption and the environment.

www.greenuiuc.org

Its purpose is to foster connections among scholars from different disciplines whose research focuses on topics including, but not limited to, sustainable development and consumption, eco-marketing, green consumer culture, public participation in environmental decision making, environment and consumer health, and environmental advocacy and education. We are particularly interested in developing an ongoing dialog on environmental communications as a field of inquiry and practice that builds connections between the academic community and the general public.
