Prairie Rivers Student Volunteers

Champaign's own Prairie Rivers Network needs student volunteers!!!!

Volunteering will help build your resume, give you valuable work experience, and you will help protect the rivers and streams of Illinois.

Prairie Rivers Network, a successful, statewide river conservation organization with an office within walking distance to campus in Champaign, is looking for volunteers to monitor media sources and help its efforts in river conservation and better water quality policies.

* Your time commitment will be 2 hours - just once a
week.
* You will learn a great deal about environmental issues in Illinois, and help clean water advocates respond to current issues.
* Prairie Rivers Network has hired some of our past
volunteers, and many others have used these skills to land full-time jobs in environmental careers.
* You will work with an energetic, dedicated staff of five, a group of enthusiastic volunteers - AND have fun making a difference!
