DSSAT Training
2008 Training Program on DSSAT Version 4 Assessing Crop Production, Nutrient Management, Climatic Risk and Environmental Sustainability with Simulation Models May 12-May 21, 2008
Presented by The University of Georgia and the International Consortium for Agricultural Systems Applications (ICASA)
The
University of Georgia in collaboration with the International
Consortium for Agricultural Systems Applications (ICASA) is organizing
a Training Program on DSSAT Version 4, Assessing Crop Production,
Nutrient Management, Climatic Risk and Environmental Sustainability
with Simulation Models. The overall goal of this workshop is to
familiarize the participants with a comprehensive computer model for
the simulation of crop growth and development, yield and biomass
production, and soil and plant water, nutrient and carbon dynamics and
their application to real world problems. The workshop will make
extensive use of DSSAT V4.5 and the Cropping System Model (CSM), which
includes CERES, CROPGRO, CROPSIM, CENTURY, and other modules. The
workshop will be held from May 12 through May 21, 2008 at the
University of Georgia in Griffin, Georgia, USA. The cost of the
workshop is $1,500. Additional information can be found at the
