GSLIS is hosting a four-day Summer Institute on Data Curation and Ag and Earth Sciences are used as a Case Study
Registration for the event is closed, but two events are open and available to the public.
A panel entitled, "Librarians and Scientists Working Together" will be held on Tuesday, June 3 at 4:00 p.m. in GSLIS room 126. Participants include:
* Marianne Stowell Bracke, Agricultural Sciences Information Specialist, Purdue
* Bruce Fouke, Geologist, UIUC
* Lura Joseph, Geology and Digital Projects Librarian, UIUC
* Michelle Wander, Soil Scientist, UIUC
* Scott Wilson, Crystallographer, UIUC
* Michael Witt, Interdisciplinary Librarian, Purdue
Anna Gold, Associate Dean for Public Services at the Kennedy Library at California Polytechnic State University, will deliver the keynote address on Thursday, June 5 at 10:00 a.m. The lecture, "The Island of Our Knowledge, the Shore of Our Ignorance," will be held in GSLIS room 126.
