The USDA-Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service (CSREES) National Water Program brings university scientists, instructors, and extension educators into more effective and efficient partnerships with Federal interagency priority programs while addressing water issues in U.S. agriculture. This program also provides the flexibility necessary for CSREES to bring the resources of researchers, instructors, and extension educators into national initiatives and programmatic partnerships that target evolving water needs.
The conference will provide opportunities for water professionals engaged in research, extension, and education to share knowledge and ideas, to identify and update emerging issues, and to network with the CSREES National Water Program and partner organizations.
Conference participants will include:- University researchers and educators who lead water quality and quantity programs
- Extension professionals working on water quality and quantity education
- USDA-CSREES professionals who work with state water specialists
- Federal partners including USEPA, NRCS, USGS, and other water agencies
- State and local water agencies and organizations
- Private organizations interested in water management research and education
Please forward this announcement to colleagues who are involved in water research, education, and extension programs.
This conference is sponsored and coordinated by the National Committee for Shared Leadership for Water Quality (CSL-WQ), representing Land-Grant Universities and CSREES: http://www.usawaterquality.org/
