Washington Post article of June 26 explains how despite another multi-author scientific report that climate change is happening more quickly than we thought and that many farmers will face scorching summer weather, severe storms, prolonged drought and swarms of new insects by the end of the century, the farm lobby continues to work against farmers interests.
