General Description: We are a small diversified farm just outside of Davis, CA. We grow all sorts of veggies, fruit trees, and herbs that are sold to local restaurants and through a small CSA. Our farm also has some honey bees, goats for weed control, a steer in training to be an ox, some pigs, chickens for eggs and hopefully soon there will be some turkeys. The farm is cooperatively managed by three young families on a total of 40 acres, but only about 10 are currently in production.

Another position would be a on farm living position. This again would be for 16 hours of farm time per week.
Both positions would cover all aspects of our vegetable and fruit production during this period. There will be the potential for more experienced interns to take a lead and give more focus towards aspects of the farm that are of most interest to them. During the summer there will be a lot of work focused around harvest, sun drying fruits/veggies, weed control, fertilizer/soil health, sowing seeds for fall/winter and much more.
