PhD Graduate Research Assistantship Opportunity NC State

Work with a team at the Center for Environmental Farming Systems developing recommendations for Forage Management in Outdoor Swine Production Systems. Research may address: cover and environmental impact, forage utilization, destruction, regrowth, and reestablishment.

Keywords: Dir: Student

Requirements:
BS/MS and background in agricultural or ecological sciences.
Fieldwork, research, and statistical experience.  Written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and with a team.
Familiarity with farmer participatory research desirable.

Available:  May 2008
