Water quality forum
In 2003, C-FAR established its strategic research initiative (SRI) focused on improving the research base to aid in the State of Illinois’ development of nutrient standards for the surface waters of Illinois. An educational forum was held on October 23rd to share the results of this three-year multidisciplinary, multi-institutional research effort funded by the State of Illinois via C-FAR. Over 120 individuals from across the state attended this special event.
To further share the outcomes of this important research initiative,
the presentations provided by the research team and others during the forum are
