Late blight breaks tomato growers hearts

by Michelle Wander last modified September 05, 2009 11:52 AM
Late blight is breaking hearts in the Northeast and Midwest with devastating effects on tomato and potato crops.  It is also bothering basil.

Organic growers can be particularly hard hit.  For the basics check out eXtension materials about the disease and its control.  Removal and destruction of infected foliage is recommended to avoid further spread of the disease.
