The Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture Program (ASAP) and Extension's IllinoiSmall Farm Programs are hosting a display at Agronomy Day.
Visit us in the tent to obtain information about ASAP's collaborative website; Extension’s Small Farm Program tours; and the new Environmental Change Institute!
The display will feature summaries of current research and outreach efforts that are being carried out by the U of I and partners, including the Illinois Natural History Survey. Reports will include results from the Windsor Organic Research on Transition; eOrganic and eXtension; research evaluating consumer acceptance of apple scab resistance genes; efforts to develop Learning Groups for Bioenergy; the New Agriculture Network; and the CITYSOIL project evaluating lead in Chicago’s community gardens.
