Scholarships available within Organic Farming and Food Systems

Through financial support from the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and
Innovation, three PhD scholarships are available within organic farming and food
systems. The three-year studentships are expected to be effective from April 2009 or
soon thereafter.

Applications are welcomed within the following five areas, but only three PhD
studentships will be filled:

1. Climate Change Effects on Plant Health

2. Climate change mitigation through sustainable agriculture

3. Effects of organic farming on populations of insect pathogenic fungi in the soil environment

4. Foraging as a means to nutrient supply in organic pig and poultry production and its interaction with parasitic infections

5. Is small beautiful? Structural development in the organic farming and its consequences for nature and landscape

Deadline 13 February at 12 noon.
