Dan Anderson - How Sustainable is Organic Agriculture?
Recent research provides evidence that organic food is healthier and that organic farming is often as productive as conventional farming. This presentation will explore how sustainable organic and natural farming methods are for farmer, consumers and the environment.
FAO Workshop on Organic Agriculture and Climate Change
To be held at the 16th IFOAM Organic World Congress The main Workshop topics include: 1. Mitigation of climate change impacts (e.g. avoided damage, carbon sequestration); 2. Adaptation to climate change (e.g. improved practices); 3. Risk prevention and management.
