The Illinois Farm Bureau and Environmental Law and Policy Center of the Midwest are co-hosting a "Clean Energy Grant and Loan Guarantee Workshop," to be held in Bloomington on April 2nd. This workshop, geared towards vendors and consultants serving rural Illinois, as well as Illinois agricultural leaders, faculty and economic development directors will be a great opportunity to network and to learn about Section 9006. Section 9006 is a competitive USDA program offering significant financial assistance to farmers and rural businesses to enable them to install energy efficient equipment and renewable energy systems.
